GEN1 Science Education was started by Michael Focht. Michael is a middle school classroom science teacher and has been for almost 20 years! He worked for a local home school co-op teaching high school level science classes for 6 years. He has also worked for the Kennedy Space Center visitor center education department, various environmental education programs around the country and at numerous camps for students with developmental ​challenges.
Michael has degrees in Environmental Science, Meteorology and an MS in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. He lives in Florida with his wife and six crazy kids as well as an energetic dog named Rosebud!!
